- Coloring Page #1468 - Thanksgiving Cornucopia
Here is a cornucopia, also called the horn of plenty. It is a large basket shaped like a horn, filled with fruits, vegetables, and grains.
In Greek mythology, it symbolized wealth, prosperity, and the generosity of nature. According to legend, it came from the goat Amalthea, the nurse of Zeus. Her magical horn could endlessly provide food and nourishment. Since then, the cornucopia has become a universal symbol of abundance and sharing. Today, it is often seen during autumn celebrations, especially Thanksgiving in North America, where it represents gratitude for the harvest.
In your coloring page, you can shade the fruits in bright red, golden yellow, or deep purple, and color the large basket in warm brown. Each color will remind you of the richness and diversity of nature.
