- Coloring Page #405 - Passenger Airliner (Front View)
Here is a passenger airliner, one of the most common ways to travel quickly from one country to another. With its wide wings and powerful engines, it can carry hundreds of passengers across thousands of kilometers (or miles). In this coloring page, the airplane is shown from the front view. You can clearly see the cockpit, with the windows where the pilots sit to control the aircraft. Below, the landing gear is extended, with several wheels that support the enormous weight of the plane when it rolls on the runway. On each side, you notice the two jet engines, those big round turbines that suck in and push out air to make the airplane fly. A passenger airliner can travel impressive distances: some models can fly more than 10,000 kilometers (6,200 miles) without stopping, connecting Europe to Asia or America. Its average speed is about 900 km/h (560 mph), much faster than a car or a train!
When coloring this drawing, you can choose the classic white look of most planes, or create a colorful livery with blue, red, green, or yellow—just like airlines do to make their airplanes recognizable. With this coloring page, you'll discover the different parts of an airliner and understand why it is so important for connecting people and countries all over the world. And if you’re a fan of military planes, you can also discover an awesome military airplane coloring page on this site!
