- Coloring Page #1525 - Cute Smiling Raspberry
It looks like the little fruit party is in full swing! After the dancing strawberry and the blackberry turned into a fruity disco ball, here comes a raspberry with a smile that's impossible to hide. It doesn't even need music to be in a good mood: with its arms wide open and pretty leaf perched on top, it already seems ready to welcome all its friends to the garden.
Raspberries grow on raspberry bushes and belong to the same botanical family as blackberries, strawberries, apples, and even roses. Like a blackberry, a raspberry is made up of many tiny fleshy fruits called drupelets. But there's an easy way to tell them apart: when a ripe raspberry is picked, its center remains hollow because the small receptacle stays attached to the plant.
Our raspberry can start by visiting its close cousin, the playful blackberry with its bumpy little body. And to complete this cheerful trio, a lively little strawberry is already showing off its moves. Take a closer look: these three fruits have a few things in common, but each has its own distinctive shape and structure.
For this coloring page, choose a bright raspberry red, deep pink, or slightly purplish red for the little drupelets. The leaves can take on different shades of green. And since this raspberry is far less serious than the ones you find in a fruit basket, its shoes can wear the most imaginative colors in your palette! It's shaping up to be a particularly cheerful harvest among our colorful fruit and vegetable pictures to color: with this little gang around, even the berries are smiling!
