The garden dance floor has a new champion! Round, cheerful, and made up of lots of tiny bumps, this blackberry didn't even wait for the previous song to end before it started dancing. Blackberries grow on bramble plants, which are often found in hedgerows and along paths. As they ripen, they usually change from green to red, then turn deep purple or almost black. And all those little bumps aren't just there to give the blackberry its funny appearance: each one is actually a tiny fleshy fruit called a drupelet, containing a small seed.
