Yum! Here is a smiling chocolate bar, ready to be filled with bright colors. But did you know that chocolate doesn't come directly in this form? It is made from cocoa beans, tiny seeds that grow inside big pods on the cacao tree. These trees grow mainly in tropical countries near the equator, such as in Africa, South America, and Asia.
The cocoa beans are harvested, dried, and then transformed into cocoa paste. By adding sugar, milk, or cocoa butter, we can make different kinds of chocolate: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate. Each one has its own special flavor and is loved by chocolate fans all over the world!
You can color the bar in dark brown for dark chocolate, in light beige for milk chocolate, or in creamy white for a white chocolate version. The wrapper can shine in purple, red, golden, or rainbow colors, just like the shiny packages you see in stores.
