- Coloring Page #1103 - Christmas Candy Canes
Can you hear that little crack? It's the sound of a candy cane being snapped between your teeth, just before it melts in your mouth. Yum! In this coloring page, two beautiful sugar canes are crossed like a festive holiday decoration—elegant, sweet... and totally ready to be colored! Tied together with a lovely ribbon and surrounded by holly leaves, they might remind you of holiday shop windows or the treats hung on Christmas trees (if they survive that long without being eaten!). Sugar canes have been around for centuries—long before wrapped candies even existed. Originally, they were plain white and straight, sometimes even used as a remedy for sore throats! But over time (probably thanks to a candy-loving elf), they became curved, colorful, and way more fun. Today, they're one of the most joyful symbols of Christmas—just as pretty as they are tasty. But careful—this one isn't edible... even if it looks very tempting!
To bring this sugary duo to life, you can alternate cherry red, apple green, or pine green stripes with creamy beige or vanilla white for a delicious effect. The central bow will look fantastic in buttercup yellow, berry red, or even raspberry purple if you're feeling bold. The holly leaves can be shaded in forest green, lime, or emerald to give them a realistic touch. And for the background, you could imagine a frosty blue sky with tiny snowflakes, or maybe even add some sparkling golden stars to complete the scene.
This sugar cane won't stick to your fingers... but it might just stick a big smile on your face.
